All in one carpet spotter, pre-spray and extraction product developed to reduce cleaning inventory into one highly concentrated, effective, and economical product. Effective on both wool and synthetic fibres. Works effectively in cold water. Can be used with all types of extraction machinery using either diaphragm, centrifugal or piston pumps. Brightens light and coloured carpets making them appear near new.

Application: 

Spotting:

1. Dilute 1-part SURGE to 5 parts waters.
2. Pre-test. Apply SURGE in an inconspicuous area and cover with a clean white towel. Leave for 5 minutes and check the towel for colour transfer. If evidence of colour transfer, do not proceed.
3. Blot as much excess liquid as possible or remove solid soil before cleaning.
4. Using a trigger spray apply diluted solution to the outside edge of the stain. DO NOT oversaturate carpet.
5. Work product towards the middle of the stain with a clean white towel. DO NOT spread the stain by scrubbing with a sponge.
6. Leave the product to remain on the stain for 2 minutes.
7. Using a clean, wet, white towel blot the treated area.
8. Repeat the process until no more soils come up in the towel.
9. Always extract or rinse spotting solution to remove the stain and chemical residues.
10. Repeat above until all stain is removed. 
11. Note, SURGE will generally remove stains of a protein or oil nature and some ink stains. SURGE will not remove old wine, tannin, or soft drink stains although some may be lightened.

Extraction Machine:

For single pass hot water extraction, SURGE may be added directly to the tank of extraction machines.

1. Vacuum carpet thoroughly and move furniture or place foil under legs.
2. Dilute SURGE as directed: Heavy soil: 1 to 100 parts water medium soil: 1 to 175 parts water Light soil:  1 to 300 parts water.
3. Pre-spot heavily soiled areas or stains with SURGE diluted 1 part with 5 parts warm water.
4. Pre-test before use. Apply the diluted solution in an inconspicuous area and check for colour transfer.
5. Extract carpets and leave to dry.
6. Rinse the treated area with cold water and extract.

Pre-spray:

For traffic lanes or heavily soiled areas, SURGE is suitable as a pre-spray detergent.

1. Vacuum carpet thoroughly and move furniture or place foil under legs.
2. Dilute 1-part SURGE with 10 to 15 parts waters.
3. Pre-test before use. Apply the diluted solution in an inconspicuous area and check for colour transfer.
4. Pre-spray the carpet. DO NOT saturate carpet however ensure it is evenly wet.
5. Allow pre-spray to remain on the carpet for 3–5 minutes. Always work on a manageable area and DO NOT let pre-spray dry.
6. Extract with cold water and leave carpet to dry. If necessary, provide ventilation to reduce drying times.

Contains: Sodium metasilicate pentahydrate less than 5%, 2-butoxyethanol less than 10%, Alcohols, C9-11, ethoxylated propoxylated less than 10%, Xylene less than 2%, Other nonhazardous ingredients 5 - 15% and Water to 100%.
